At UKAA we stock a large range of antique Chapel and Church chairs that are available for sale.
These chairs are ideal to accompany our handmade bespoke kitchen and dining tables which are made here in our workshop in Staffordshire.
Our chairs are lovingly restored by our team of skilled craftsmen. They can be left in their original waxed finish or they can be painted in the colour of your choice giving a more modern look.
If you are contemplating purchasing any of our chairs we would advise you not to delay as they are selling fast and we do not envisage receiving any more stock in the near future.

UKAA have just received this excellent set of five Solid Oak Alter Chairs;
The larger chair of the set has exquisite hand carved script on the back which is commemorative of Henry and Esther Griffith;
This was presented by their Son Major Sydney Griffith who was fifth battalion of the South Staffs Regiment.
These chairs are very solid and are in fantastic condition with just a few small scuff marks commensurate with their age.
These were reclaimed from Hamstead Road Baptist Church in Birmingham and are now here at UKAA awaiting to take pride of place in their new home.

From Ancient times Bishops of Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Anglican churches have been formally seated on a throne like the one in our set of 5. This throne is also known as a Cathedra.
The Cathedra is traditionally located in the sanctuary of the church along with the Altar and it symbolises the Bishops authority to teach the faith and to govern his flock.

Yesterday we received a lovely email with photographs from a very happy customer with her beautiful Worcester Cathedral Chairs;
We limed and waxed these chairs here at UKAA to our customer's specification and she was more than pleased with the results!
These were the last remaining of our replicas which we had constructed out of solid oak using the same method of construction as our original W0orcester cathedral chairs.

At UKAA we always have a large selection of Old Antique Wooden Church, Kitchen, Chapel and School chairs for sale.
These chairs have been reclaimed from schools and churches through out the UK.
All our chairs go through stick testing in our workshop and are assessed for suitability.
UKAA also offer a bespoke painting service for any of our chairs, we are able to paint any of our chairs in a colour or brand to suit individual requirements.

UKAA's table and chairs have been featured in this months Aga Living Magazine
The chairs and table look fantastic in the article regarding different shades of grey and room settings.
The chairs were reclaimed from a local church and have an excellent patina, the table has been made to order and painted to the customers requirements.
