Here at UKAA we have just received delivery of this very special and incredibly rare Shepherds Hut ready to be refurbished.
The shepherd's hut was a kitchen, dining room, bedroom, sitting room and storeroom all rolled into one.
The designs vary, but all were constructed to provide the shepherd with practical and durable accommodation.
The old huts had a stove in one corner for warmth and cooking, and a window on each side so the shepherd could see the flock.
A hinged stable door, which was always positioned away from the prevailing wind, enabled him to hear the flock, and strong axles with cast iron wheels were used to withstand the constant movement from field to field.

At UKAA we have for sale a large selection of reclaimed Church and Chapel chairs for sale.
These antique chairs have been rescued from Churches and Chapels from around the UK.
All our chairs are sympathetically restored and examined for flaws. The chairs can be left in their original waxed finish to show their natural patina, alternatively, they can be painted in the colour of your choosing to present a more modern look.

Here at UKAA we always carry a large stock of original reclaimed Victorian pine floorboards which have been salvaged from buildings throughout the uk.
These boards are perfect to add a period feature to your property.
All our floorboards are dry and flat stored and are of the best quality. Each one will be individually measured and we will provide you with a cutting list showing the length of each board.
All the boards can be viewed at our reclamation yard at Cannock Wood, Staffordshire.

Here at our reclamation yard in Cannock Wood we have a range of antique original butchers blocks for sale, these reclaimed blocks can be viewed online or at our antique shop.
Our wooden chopping blocks are perfect to use in a kitchen as a central island or as an extension to a kitchen work surface.
Each reclaimed block is fully refurbished by our team of joiners and where possible we keep the blocks original base with the top.
Occasionally we are able to salvage a butcher's block top only so we are able to make a bespoke base to suit the top and your kitchen.
