The team at UKAA have had a busy week refurbishing some reclaimed butchers blocks ready to be advertised.
All our butchers block are checked and polished here on site. Where ever possible we do try and use the original bases but sometimes we do need to make a bespoke base for the top to sit on.
These can be made to suit an individual kitchens requirements

We have just taken delivery of two large batches of chapel chairs.
These very traditional chapel chairs have book holders and crosses in the backs, The chairs are a mixture of Elm and Beech.
The chapel chairs will go through our workshop where they are check for suitability and any repairs are carried out.
Once the chapel chairs are ready they will be advertised on our website

We have just finished making this fantastic Antiqued Copper table for one of our customers.
The table has been made with a 20mm thick table top and slight corners to the customers specification
The bespoke table base has been painted in Farrow and Ball Railings and is a solid finish.

At UKAA we have a large stock of reclaimed and resawn floorboards for sale, currently we have square edge, tongue and grove and also parquet.
All our floorboards are dry stored here at UKAA and are vigorously checked for any old nails and only the best boards make the grade.
The boards are for sale by the square yard and all are thoroughly checked and measured prior to delivery.
Our stock levels do vary and the width sizes range from 4'' to 10 '' wide boards.

The team at UKAA have recently advertised this fantastic large pair of reclaimed gates wrought and cast iron gates.
These large original gates are circa 1880 and complete with their original runners, the style and condition of the gates are excellent especially for an item of this age.
The gates are extremely large and very impressive, they were reclaimed from Finsbury square in London.

UKAA we are authorised stockiest of Carron Multi fuel Stoves which are available in a range of sizes and heat out puts.
The Carron Stoves and Wood burners come in a variety of enamelled colours and also the traditional matt black.
All the Carron stoves that we sell are multi fuel so are able to burn wood, coal or briquettes and are suitable for use in smoke exempt zones.

The lads down the yard have had a busy day today at UKAA.
They have been spending the day cleaning the bases of some reclaimed Royal Mail Post Boxes that we have had in.
The boxes have all been in service at some point with the Royal Mail and are either GR or ER.
Pillar boxes are generally sunk at least 12 inches in to the ground for stability and security.

The team at UKAA have just advertised this pair of reclaimed Church Flower Display Stands.
The stands were reclaimed from St Michaels church which is local to us in Staffordshire.
The flower stands are made from wrought iron and are in an excellent condition for an item of their ages, they are suitable for both indoor and out door use.

Here is a picture of a Wagon Top (far left) and two Hovis tops we will be advertising soon.
Each Post Box we refurbished is sand blasted which strips the post box back to bare metal, then it is coated in several layers of red oxide primer ready to paint after installation.
The picture shows the post boxes with several layers of primer on.
The final process is to paint the post boxes in Post Office Red
