• Excellent memorial lectern, the pediment with a study of a perched eagle with out swept wings above a column pedestal which is sat on 3 large lions.
• Very hard to come by these days.
• The engraved inscription reads: 'TO THE GLORY OF GOD THIS LECTERN WAS PRESENTED TO S.PHILIPS CHURCH BY ELLEN WILLIAMS OF CROSS HILL DECEMBER 1880.
• The church lectern measures: 76" Tall x 28 ½" Wing Span.
• The book holder also has a piece which swivels to help hold a large book.
• The eagle rotates 360 degrees - Please see video.
• The lectern is totally free standing and stands upright and secure.
• This came from St Peters Church in Blackburn.
