Large Ebony Beehive Cupboard Door Knob
A superbly crafted cupboard knob in solid ebony – solid ebony has been long regarded as one of the finest and most decorative hardwoods, which polishes to a superb lusterous finish and is excellent for achieving fine detail when turned.
The diameter of the knob is 40mm, projection is 32mm.
They have been faithfully reproduced to the quality and standard of our former peers.
Small hairline shakes in the timber are a feature of solid ebony.
The solid ebony that is used in the manufacture of this range of furniture has been microscopically examined by a Doctor at Kew Gardens in Surrey, he says "it matches our reference material Diospyros s. Ebony."
