  • This fantastic Cast Iron Stove is the very rare Tortoise model made by C.Portway
  • This Reclaimed Tortoise Stove is in fantastic condition with,complete with ashpan and seperate front mounted Cast Iron hearth and has been polished here at UKAA.
  • We have never come across one on this large scale in such good condition and complete with ashpan and front mounted hearth
  • At the rear of the stove is the adjustable air intake which can be controlled by hand
  • The stove measures 38" Tall x 22" Wide
  • The flue measures 5¼" Diameter externally (see picture below)
  • The depth of the stove is 23"
  • The overall depth with ashpan is 34"
  • We recommend this stove is fitted by a fully qualified HETAS Engineer
  • This Stove was only made in 1908 and 1909
