Pair of Original Buff Terracotta Table Ends - Possibly Doulton
A lovely example of an original pair of Terracotta table ends with griffin creatures on the sides.
The paint on the terracotta has a fantastic patina showing the age and gives them great character.
They measure: 28" Tall x 32 ½" Long (Max) x 7" Thick (Max).
Excellent craftsmanship highly detailed.
In our opinion these are in the style of Doulton very well made.
These are perfect height to put a nice top on e.g. marble, wood, iron, stone etc to make a one off table or statement piece.
There are age related marks, chips, cracks etc nothing structural.
Circa 1870.
