• The "Bantam" Type N is a compact pedestal postbox introduced by Royal Mail in 1999 as the final lettered postbox design.
• Created by renowned British industrial designer Sir Kenneth Grange.
• Named the "Bantam" because its shape looks like the fuel tank of a BSA Bantam motorcycle.
• Officially a pedestal box, though often grouped with lamp boxes due to its small size and compact late-20th-century build.
• Totally original and very rare item in fantastic condition.
• Fitted with original lock, 2 x keys, 1 x plaque (hard to get), clear cage and chute.
• This measures 82" Tall (approx 19" goes in ground).
• The box itself measures: 31 ½" Tall x 17 ½" Depth x 14" Wide.
