Original Post Office ER II Double Cast Iron Pillar Box
Excellent fully refurbished original post box - Completed here by hand at UKAA to our very high standards.
Totally original and very rare item.
This Pillar Box was made by Lion Foundry Co Ld - Kirkintilloch.
Fitted with the original Chubb locks, 4 x keys for one lock, 3 x keys for the other lock, original 2 x plaques, tabs and chutes.
The Pillar Box measures: 73" Tall x 41" Wide x 29" Deep (20" will go into the ground approximately).
Touch up paint is included.
There is an old repair on the 'post' side door near the top hinge but this is a very good and strong repair.
There are also a few old repair welds and a small missing piece on the part which goes in the ground which will never be seen.
