• Original Edward Bawden Garden Bench, Chairs and Table Set
• Purchased from a private property in Claverley Shropshire - from the original owners we can date this set to 1958
• Edward Bawden was commisioned by the Bilston Foundry to produce this set
• This is a very rare and unique set
• The seats are very comfortable - the laths are Mahogany - we have cleaned them down and given them 3 coats of satin varnish
• The proportions are excellent
• We have finished the bench in the original oil based white gloss paint - we include some paint for touching up
• The bench measures 4ft long
• The 3 identical chairs are 22" wide
• The table is 41" long x 24" wide, we have fitted a new piece of toughenend glass to the top, the original glass was not toughened so we have replaced it for safety reasons
