The Antique Reclaimed Royal Hotel Sign

The team at UKAA have recently advertised this fantastic reclaimed cast iron antique hotel sign on our website. The sign is ideal to use as a window display, hotel lobby sign or shop sign.

We have salvaged this sign from The Royal Hotel in Aberdeen, this was fitted along the top of the wall outside the hotel. The hotel was built in 1840 and the sign was commissioned especially for this iconic building.

The sign is in its original condition which is fantastic for an item of this age and is made from cast iron, each letter is individual and can be rearranged.

This reclaimed antique sign has many functions or uses, the sign would be ideal to use as a window or wall display in either a private home or shop.

 The image below shows the full Royal Sign in its full glory, we have not refurbished the sign as the patina is excellent for an item of this age. 

Each letter on the hotel sign is individual and can be moved around to read in a different order, the image below shows the letters in a different order and would be ideal to use for a vintage window display in a tea shop.
