  • Gothic Solid Oak Kitchen/Dining Chairs
You are buying 1 chair for the advertised price
  • Worcester cathedral antique gothic Oak chairs in the unwaxed finish
  • In 1870 the Cathedral installed 1200 Oak Chairs
  • The chair is 36½" tall and the width of the seat is 17¼" and the seat height is 17½"
  • The architect for the cathedral was Sir George Gilbert Scott - it would of been part of his work for him to have an input in the design and manufacture of the chairs
  • In the images below you can see the original chairs in situ - 120 of which we reclaimed several years ago
  • We purchased over 120 chairs from the Cathedral and we have now sourced a manufacturer to replicate exactly the chairs for us in Solid Oak, with the same method of construction and detail.
