This is a fantastic example of a totally Original GR Cast Iron pillar box that has been fully refurbished by UKAA here in Cannock Wood, Staffordshire
Complete with original working chubb lock & key and mail shoot.
The GR and Post Office letters have been hand painted in the traditional gold paint as shown in the photographs below

This Pillar Box was made by Mc Dowall Steven & Co Ltd - London & Glasgow
The Pillar Box measures 84" Tall, of which 24" goes into the ground
The main body diameter is approx 15"
