  • This sale is for 1 Antique Garden Staddle Stone
We purchased 7 staddles from the same property in Arley Near to the River Severn
  • Excellent original item.
  • Circa 1800
  • The stone would of been local to Arley in the Midlands
  • This would of been carved entirely by hand
  • This staddle measures 35½" tall and the top is 19½" diameter
  • This staddle is over 200 years old and we have tried to show images all the way around the staddle to show it's true condition.
  • The top is seperate to the base
  • Staddles such as they are not perfectly square you normally need to sit them in the garden and then level them with the soil, the tops can be fitted with a lime mortar mix and again this can be done to make them level if that is the look you are after.
