• The mantel shelf is 10⅛" deep
• The insert hole size is35¾" wide x 37⅞" tall - making it sutable for a standard 36" wide x 38" tall insert
• The outside to outside of the leg measurement is 56"
• This is an excellent example of a reclaimed cast iron surround
