Carron are now offering there exclusive Vintage Copper Finish on ALL their Cast Iron Radiators
The Vintage Copper finish is highly labour intensive but well worth it!
To get this finish we need to hand paint each individual section of the radiator in a specialist copper paint, the radiator needs at least two hand applied coats and then we apply a reactive agent to get the amazing Vintage effect. The finish is exclusive to Carron Cast Iron Radiators, cheaper paint finishes are available but this layered effect defiantly has the wow factor.

Here at UKAA we are blessed to be in the middle of the Staffordshire countryside and we would heartily recommend to explore our local area if coming over to view our architectural antiques.
There are some lovely local amenities including some walks for dogs with the ancient Roman Castle Ring in Cannock Wood village and not to mention some lovely local pubs to serve a cold beer or glass of wine to quench the thirst on these beautiful warm days!
Here is a picture of our bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) wood in full bloom, they are a beautiful flower that covers the ground like a lilac carpet, yet they only flower for a few weeks of the year - as fast as they arrive they disappear!

We have just added this lovely Three Tier Cast Iron Stove to our website - this Dovre stove is very unusual in design and of a lovely vintage.
This stove also has the added decorative detailing of the Three Billy Goats Gruff over the entire surface that adds to its character.
As shown in the photograph below it is in fantastic condition, having reconditioned and polished it in-house.
This wood burning stove has a substantial door on the short side and incorportates an adjustable vent.

We have just received some photographs from one of our happy customers of his Royal Mail Penfold Pillar Box which he took delivery of late last week
The Penfold Pillar box is extremely rare and can be identified by its six sided shape
Our customer has installed in his garden next to his original Victorian Lantern and Post
This pillar box looks amazing in his garden

We have just had in a beautiful batch of vintage garden benches that we are in the process of advertising for our website.
They are all weathered with lots of vintage character and as a bonus they are all very comfortable for sitting in the sunshine!
They are perfect for the Spring season, not to mention the upcoming Bank Holiday...
Here is a picture of the whole batch, the individual benches are currently being added to the UKAA site so keep your eyes out and stay tuned!

We have just received photographs from one of our lovely customer's bespoke table and bench made by UKAA.
It looks absolutely fantastic in their house and really matches their interior.
The table they chose was a Natural Copper high table to their exact dimensions with a matching plank top bench, both painted with Farrow and Ball paint.
As you guys probably know by now we produce these bespoke tables by hand here in Cannock Wood by Daniel and Jamie alongside our in-house carpenter.
The solid copper top is hand beaten along the edges using traditional techniques to achieve a smooth yet authentic table.

One of our happy customer's have sent us some lovely photographs of one of UKAA's Zinc Tables in their conservatory.
The table itself was bespoke built to the customer's requirements: they chose a 10ft Zinc table with a Farrow & Ball "Wevet" painted table base.
They chose to have the Zinc Table with our small rounded corners and the zinc finished with a matt look.
We think you will agree it looks fantastic in their lovely home - a great Easter table for their family!
