Wall Stays and Brackets for Cast Iron Radiators

At UKAA we sell a large range of wall stays and brackets for original and reclaimed cast iron radiators. 

Our most popular wall stays are the rear mounted square cast iron stay, this wall stay is designed to work with plaster board walls or solid walls and are suitable to use on most of our bespoke radiators and radiators to go such as the Carron Victorian, Duchess, Daisy and Rococo styles.

The rear mounted cast iron wall stays are designed to be as discrete as possible while maintaining the stability of the radiator. The wall stays and brackets are designed to stop the radiator from coming over and either causing injury or disturbing the pipework. 

The image below is of the rear mounted square cast iron wall stay on A Carron Victorian 6 column cast iron radiator in our property, the wall stay is designed to grab the back sections of the radiator and secure to the wall. 

We recommend using one wall stay per 10 radiator sections and the wall stay should be fitted towards the top of the radiator for maximum strength and stability.

The image below has been taken from the top of the radiator looking down to the wall stay, as you can see the wall stay grabs the back section of the radiator and then is securely screwed to the wall using the wall stay fixing point.

The image below is of a Carron Victorian cast iron radiator that has been fitted with a rear mounted wall stay, as you can see the rear mounted wall stays are very discrete and not obviously visible from the front and sides of the radiator. The radiator has been painted in Foundry Grey.
