At UKAA we are pleased to announce the arrival of the new Normandy copper exterior and enamel interior bath.
This copper bath is 173mm long and offers and impressive depth and size.
The inside of the bath is white vitreous enameled and the outside of the bath is polished natural copper.
Copper is an excellent conductor of heat and this unique characteristic allows one to indulge in a wonderful bathing experience.

At our reclamation yard in Cannock Wood we have recently advertised a couple of fantastic batches of reclaimed Victorian floorboards on our website.
Prior to being advertised all our timber floorboards go through a strict checking process and all the nails are removed.
We then measure a selection of each batch to find the average size of the floorboards.
Here at UKAA we always have a large variety of floorboards which include square edge and tongue and groove for sale.
All of our floorboards are dry stored and ready to lay after a small period of acclimatisation in your home.

Here at UKAA we love to buy good items of taxidermy and are always on the hunt for something unusual and different.
Taxidermy is the art of mounting the skins of animals and skeletons for display and was very popular in the Victorian era.
Leading Victorian taxidermists include J Copper, L W Barlett, T E Gunn and E F Spicer to name just a few.
All vertebrate species of dead animal can be mounted including birds, amphibians and reptiles and are often displayed in museums or as hunting trophies.
Cased fish and mounted deer heads and antlers were also real favorites.
Exciting news at UKAA, we have managed to source the best piece of Victorian taxidermy that we have ever seen. His name is ‘Boris’ and he is a male Victorian Polar Bear.

At UKAA we are proud to be able to offer the full range of Carron Cast Iron radiators.
This range of traditional radiators are brand new but have been cast from original moulds so they have the look and feel of an old product but are straight forward to install and come with a life time guarantee.
At UKAA we only sell Carron cast iron radiators, Carron radiators are the Rolls Royce of cast iron radiators and have the best quality castings available on the market. Carron radiators have been awarded the ISO: 9001 accreditation for quality management and the also confirm to the BS: EN442-2 standard.
The full range of radiators are available in a primer finish, Painted (In either one of our standard paint finishes or we are able to colour match for you from Farrow and Ball, Dulux or RAL number, the choice is yours) Hand Burnished (Polished back to a bare metal) Satin Polish (Satin metal finish) Antique or Vintage Copper.
If you are unsure on the colour you would like the radiators painting we are able to supply all styles in a primer finish, they are very straight forward to paint. You just need to ensure that the paint is suitable for metal work. This can then be applied using a spray can or paint brush.
The image below shows some of the styles of radiators that available, such as the Duchess style which comes in the the 590mm,785mm and the four column 330mm. The Duchess style has a simple design with a slow curving top and is a modern classic.

Within the Carron radiator range there are both pattered and plainer styles of radiators. The more heavily ornate such as the Chelsea (675mm in height) and the Verona (Heights include 650mm, 800mm and 940mm) look fantastic in the Antique Finish, this is where a light colour is applied to the radiators and then a black polished is rubbed over to create an antique finish. This enhances the pattern design and detailing in the radiator.
The Victorian range is our most popular style of radiators, the Victorian style is available in a range of different heights and column formations. The Victorian four column range comes in several heights which includes the 760mm, 325mm, 460mm, 810mm and 660mm. We also have a six column Victorian radiator (625mm, 920mm and 365mm heights available) and also the Victorian 330mm which is ideal to use as a window seat in a bay window. There is also a Victorian 615mm two column radiator which with its slim design is ideal for hallways and small spaces. At UKAA we also offer a full range of radiator valves, wall stays and accessories for your cast iron radiators, these are designed to compliment the radiators.

The team at UKAA have just advertised a fantastic batch of Victorian reclaimed estate fencing on our website.
The railings are circa 1850 and in excellent condition for an item of there age. We have split them down in to two batches.
Estate railings were traditional used as boundary fencing in parks, parkland, deer parks and country estates. The simple design of the fence allows for uninterrupted views and the panel design allows the fencing to follow the contours of the land.

UKAA have just received a large batch of Carron Cast Iron Radiators.
We stock a range of our most popular styles and sizes of Cast Iron Radiators so that we can provide a Next Day Delivery service for all of those last minute decisions and Do It Yourselfers.
These radiators are available in the Primer finish so are ready to be painted and fitted; The radiators are very easy to paint and can be painted with any paint suitable for metal.
Many of our previous customers have used spray paint to paint their radiators as this is the easiest way of covering your radiator all over and much less time consuming than hand painting.
We hold a number of Victorian, Daisy and Duchess style radiators to suit any home.
