UKAA are taking part in the disabled Access day on Saturday March 16th a campaign which aims to help people with access needs, along with their families and friends, discover new accessible experiences. Our office and warehouse is wheelchair friendly with nice wide doors.
We are open:
Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm
Saturday 10am – 5pm
It is a great opportunity for businesses to engage with new and existing customers by raising awareness of their accessible facilities and services. It can also help operators tap into the lucrative accessible tourism market, worth £12.4bn to England’s tourism industry.
The inaugural event in March 2015 was a huge success, with over 250 venues and organisations taking part and over 1,000 disabled people and their families, friends and carers trying somewhere new.

Just advertised at UKAA, a fantastic and extremely rare batch of reclaimed skittles and bowling balls.
We have advertised 704 skittles and 120 bowling balls on our website.
There are marks on the skittles and ball from hundreds of strikes, turkeys and half strikes.
They would look fantastic as a shop display or even integrated in to pieced of furniture. The possibilities are endless.

The team at UKAA have today taken part today in Clean for the Queen weekend to celebrate her Majesty's birthday.
The aim is to clean up Britain in time for her 90th birthday which officially takes place in June 2016.
We have cleaned 500 meters of the verge outside UKAA leading up to the village, our little Grandson Enzo even took part!
The rubbish pictured below was all gathered in those 500 meters of Hayfield hill leading to the village Cannock Wood.

The team at UKAA have just finished making this fantastic bespoke natural brass table for one of our customers.
The complete table has been hand made by our team of onsite joiners to suit our customers individual needs and requirements.
We have made the top using the highest quality natural brass available on the market wrapped around exterior grade premium MDF, this is specified to reduce any movement that may be caused due to temperature changes. This would happen if the metal was attached to natural wood.
Our customer has decided to have a natural brass top and the base has been painted in Farrow and Ball Hague Blue. We can antique or distress the top if required.

At UKAA we are currently making a fantastic pine settle for one of our customers.
The settle has been designed to fit in a specific space within our customers home and has two separate lift up sections which is ideal for storage.
We have made the settle from reclaimed pine and finished with steel hinges.
The settle photographed below is due to be painted in Little Greene Silt as requested by our customer.

UKAA have had one of our items featured in homify online magazine.
Our Coalbrookdale bench (Pictured below) has been used to highlight heirlooms that can be used along side contemporary furniture.

At UKAA we have recently finished a batch of pub/restaurant tables ready for sale.
The tables were made by hand at UKAA using our team of onsite joiners.
The table tops have been made using reclaimed Iroko wood, Iroko is a large hardwood tree from the west coast of Africa and is sometimes referred to as African Teak.
The wood used for the table tops was originally laboratory tables in a school science class room.
